Purpose

Each year the Elevate group (young adults) of First Baptist Church serves where there is a need. In previous years we used race proceeds for:

• Built a feeding center in a needy part of Panama
• Helped in Paradise, CA during recovery from the Camp Fire
• Worked in an Indigenous community in the Panamanian jungle
• Helped fund a ministry in Romania caring for Ukrainian refugees
• Purchased $3,500 of new socks and underwear for the rescue mission
• Collected over 300 bags and boxes of used clothing for the rescue mission
