12 Hour Course Record Challenge

If someone sets a new course record they receive a $150 cash prize plus an additional $150 donated to the current service project on their behalf. If both a male and female break the record, both receive the prize.

Anyone who breaks the previous record but does not set the new record (someone else that year goes farther) receives a one-time free entry the next year. We’re grateful to a multi-year participant for funding this incentive.

Additionally, anyone who sets a new 12 Hour course record — and a guest of their choosing — receives free entries each year for as long as we hold this race.

Details

• Only one male and one female can set a new course record each year. Example: if one woman runs 71 and another 72, only 72 sets the new record even though both beat 70.
• The two free entries are for the record breaker and a guest of their choosing.
• The guest can change each year; the winner cannot give away their own entry.
• Winner and guest need not run the same distance (12 Hour / 5k).
• If the record is broken later, they still keep lifetime free entries.
