The course is entirely on the First Baptist and Valley Christian Academy campus in Santa Maria, CA.
- Each loop is 1 mile for the 12 Hour and 1.036 miles for the 5k (three loops).
- Distances measured with a measuring wheel on the shortest possible route.
- ~70% dirt and grass, 30% asphalt and concrete.
- ~25 feet of elevation gain each loop.
- Private property — no access before race without permission.
- 5k: volunteers throughout for young runners. 12 Hour: limited monitors.
- 12 Hour runners need headlamp/flashlight (& extra batteries) on the unlit back portion.
- 5k aid: water, Gatorade, bananas. 12 Hour: solid food available.
